Legendary Singers Dalby Forest Encore

Guests staying at our hotels in Malton or Scarborough will have the opportunity to see Paul Weller play live at Dalby Forest, near Pickering on Saturday 27th June 2009, the night after the ever popular McFly perform there.
Organisers at Dalby Forest are looking to repeat the sell-out success of Paul Weller’s concert which took place there in June 2004.
The former Jam frontman will perform in the Adderstone Field in Dalby Forest which is a natural clearing in the beautiful North Yorkshire Moors woodland.
Paul Cody who is the regional organiser for the Forestry Commission, said: “It’s a great coup for us to secure Paul Weller’s return – the man is a true mega star. His gig five years ago captured the public imagination and was our first concert played to a capacity audience of 5,000.”
“Since then both this unique venue and many of the stars who have played Dalby Forest have gone from strength to strength.”
Paul Weller is the second act to be confirmed for the weekend of concerts at Dalby Forest, which is located only a stones throw away from our Malton hotels.
